The device is especially suitable for use in solar home systems where manually switched small AC appliances are occasionally used in addition to the normal DC appliances.   3. The new generation of sine wave inverters, Steca Solarix PI, demonstrates greatly enhanced functionality and robustness. New parallel switch box PA Link1, for instance, facilitates communication with the new charge controller generation Tarom 4545/4545-48 and Tarom MPPT 6000-M (software update required). Existing safety functions too have been made more customer-friendly and robust. The new generation of the Steca Solarix PI possess different technical properties to predecessor models and may not be suitable to replace these.

  5. The basic functions of the combined inverters Steca Xtender are the inverter, the battery charger, the switching function and the support of external sources of alternating current. These functions can be combined and controlled fully automatically. The inverters offer outstanding user-friendliness and very good exploitation of the energy available. All the settings of the Steca Xtender can be remote controlled. When a software with new functions is available, it can be loaded into the system, so the Steca Xtender always stays up to date. Several Steca Xtender can be connected in parallel or to form a three-phase system. That means that up to nine Steca Xtender can work together.
